International Construction Management Certificates

By achieving these certificates, students will earn a credential that indicates that they have accomplished specialized, high quality study in the field of International Construction Management. Applicants for the certificate program are required to have a bachelor’s degree and construction experience. Please note that credits earned as a certificate-seeking student can be transferred to count toward a Masters of International Construction Management degree, if one is accepted into the master’s degree program. These certificates are only available online.

Once an application has been approved, please contact the ICM program advisor to register for course(es).

Certificate in Construction Project Management
To receive this certificate, students must successfully complete the following courses:

  • ICM 6420 Commercial Management and Cost Control
  • ICM 6440 Construction Value Management
  • ICM 6710 Construction Human Resource Management
  • ICM 6761 Advanced Planning, Scheduling and Logistics

Certificate in Sustainable Construction
To receive this certificate, students must successfully complete the following courses:

  • ICM 6440 Construction Value Management
  • ICM 6680 Principles of International Sustainable Construction
  • ICM 6682 Construction Ecology and Metabolism
  • ICM 6684 High Performance Green Building

If you will be completing a certificate this semester, you will need to apply by logging onto ONE.UF. Upon completion of your final class, you will be issued your certificate by the University of Florida. The certificate will also be posted on your transcripts.
