International Exchange Programs

The Rinker School values the study abroad experience as a valuable part of the college career and, accordingly, offers four exchange programs for its students. The objectives of these programs are to:

  • Enhance the quality of education for Rinker School students through international exchange programs, promote international understanding, and encourage cross-cultural learning through a direct immersion experience
  • Facilitate student mobility and the internationalization of the UF campus and curriculum
  • Allow students access to the academic programs, support systems, and benefits of the host institutions

The student exchange programs include:


Australia Exchange Program

Students can visit either the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Melbourne) or the Queensland Institute of Technology (Brisbane) for either the Fall or Spring semester.

If you would like to attend one of the Australia exchange programs,  you will need to fill out the online application on the UF International Center’s website. Germany Exchange Program

Students can attend Hochschule Ostwestfalen Lippe in Detmold, Germany for three or seven weeks over the summer semester. The courses are taught in English. Please note that the Germany Exchange program is currently approved for graduate students.

Italy Exchange Program

Students can study in Italy for three weeks over the summer semester.  The courses are taught in English.  This program is approved for second semester Juniors and first semester Seniors in the upper division construction management program.
