Each year teams of BCN students are selected by the previous year’s team and faculty members to compete against other construction program students in regional and national competitions. The teams each consist of six students, who begin preparing for the competition during the semester before the competition. The teams travel to competition locations such as Orlando, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Atlanta, et. where 24 hours are allotted to complete an assigned task. Traditionally, the University of Florida construction management teams place among the top in the nation.
