The graduate program offered at The University of Florida in Fire and Emergency Sciences and Emergency Services/Disaster Management is designed for individuals who are seeking to expand their knowledge in emergency planning, hazard mitigation and preparedness, disaster response and recovery, and homeland security.

The goal of our program is that we strive to acquaint our students with broad experiences that include the various complex elements of historical and current cases in Fire and Emergency Services and Emergency Sciences/Disaster Management. Our courses bring emphasis to knowledge and experience for both critical thinking skills and leadership skills necessary for success to advance in your chosen Emergency Sciences field.

Critical Care Paramedic: Critical Care Transport is a widely growing branch of Emergency Medical Services. The advancements in medicine, combined with the specialization of many tertiary care facilities, have developed the need for specially trained Paramedics who are able to provide advanced care to critically ill and injured patients. We provide high-level instruction in all aspects of critical care transport. Our instructors are experienced clinicians, physicians and professors who are recognized experts in their fields of study. The program is unique in that it combines nonsynchronous classroom instruction with scheduled hands-on labs and clinical rotations.
