A total of 312 students earned degrees from the University of Florida College of Design Construction and Planning following the Spring 2023 semester, the college officially announced Monday. The graduating class was celebrated with a recognition ceremony on Saturday, May 6, in front of a capacity crowd at the on-campus Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
“Our newest batch of graduates have demonstrated remarkable resilience in achieving success despite the global pandemic, and are very well equipped to help shape the natural and built environment for the better,” DCP Dean Chimay Anumba said.
Six students received their Doctor of Philosophy from DCP, with an additional 85 Gators receiving their master’s degree from the college. A total of 221 students received their bachelor’s degree in six different disciplines. E-Builder founder Jon Antevy (BDES ’93, MSBC ’94) served as the keynote speaker, while sustainability and the built environment graduate Emily Ellingsen gave the student address.
