Summer Design Exploration Program

The School of Architecture (SoA) recently completed another successful edition of the Summer Design Exploration Program, which offers both valuable insight and first-hand experience to prospective architecture design students.

The Design Exploration Program provides these students with a greater understanding of both the architectural curriculum and environment at the University of Florida by learning through a design studio, seminars and field trips.

These experiences provide students with the opportunity to develop projects, hear from guest speakers and travel to buildings under construction, architecturally significant sites and architectural offices to learn more about design, building and the profession.

Now the program is not all work. The students are provided time for social activities to allow them to relax, have fun and get to know each other.

While here for the program, the students stay in dormitory suites conveniently located near the college.
