UF Online has risen to No. 5 in the 2019 rankings by U.S. News & World Report for the best online bachelor’s degree programs in the country, up from No. 12 in 2018.
The University of Florida launched UF Online in January 2014 and by the program’s fifth birthday, it has achieved the fifth ranking in the country. UF continues to be the top-ranked public university for online undergraduate programs in the state of Florida, according to the U.S. News list.
The College of Design, Construction and Planning is proud to contribute to this ranking with our online Fire and Emergency Services program, housed in the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management.
“Our Bachelor of Science program in Fire and Emergency Services continues to attract qualified students from diverse backgrounds,” Fire and Emergency Services Academic Advisor Keith Collins stated. “We offer specializations in Fire Management, EMS Management and Emergency Management.”
The success of UF Online has had a trickle-down effect to the Fire and Emergency Services program in a very positive way.
“The enrollment in our program has increased due to our partnership with UF Online (UFO) as well as the dedication of our faculty and staff,” Collins explained. “We are very excited to be a part of UFO, we are proud of the #5 ranking and we look forward to helping more students reach their professional goals at the University of Florida.”
