Student Profile – Sara Stevens, Interior Design Senior
Sara Stevens, an interior design senior, has gained a great deal of knowledge during her time at DCP. Taking away only the positive from long hours in the studio, Sara is grateful for the opportunity to learn not only from her professors, but also from her peers.
1. What have you valued most about your time at the College of Design, Construction and Planning?
I truly value the relationships I’ve made with students, faculty and staff. Being in a smaller college, I have been given many more opportunities to grow close with my professors, faculty I communicate with in organizations and even the dean and department heads of the college.
2. What class have you enjoyed the most so far at DCP?
I overall have enjoyed all of my studio classes the most. Each year I have grown closer to my classmates, learned from them and grown professionally and personally. Studio teaches us that we learn a lot from our professors, but we learn the most from our peers.
3. What will you take away from your time here at DCP?
My professors, classes and peers have truly prepared me for the professional world. I will always be grateful for the education I’ve gained and the friendships I’ve made being a part of this college.
