Two DCP alumni were among the chosen few to be awarded a 2018 Outstanding Young Alumni Award at a ceremony held in Emerson Alumni Hall.
Lauren Permuy, BSBC ’07, and Smita Sahoo, MID ’06, were honored at the 2018 Outstanding Young Alumni Awards Brunch before heading over to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to enjoy the annual Orange and Blue spring football game.
As the Vice President of Business Development at Power Design, Inc., Permuy manages current client relationships and acquires new ones. She also oversees the company’s marketing and brand management to ensure the Power Design message is heard.
As an associate director at bKL Architecture, Sahoo is the design lead on several projects, mentors junior staff and is a part of marketing/business development activities. Currently, she leads the marketing and business development strategies to help grow the firm’s nascent interiors practice.
Established in 2006, the Outstanding Young Alumni Award recognizes alumni under the age of 40 whose achievements positively reflect and strengthen The Gator Nation.
