Admissions procedures and diversity goals

The National Architectural Accreditation Board (NAAB) requires, as a condition for accreditation, that the School of Architecture share its policies on diversity goals and admissions procedures. The School reports demographic data on student enrollment as part of the University’s institutional assessment and accreditation processes, which are overseen by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Demographic data for the undergraduate Bachelor of Design program and the professionally accredited Master of Architecture program are available in the 2021 Architecture Program Report. to several prompts regarding curriculum, classroom culture, and inclusivity. Admission to the School of Architecture follows the requirements of state law, university policy, and the regulations established by the Board of Governors regarding instruction, curriculum, admissions, and personnel.
