Congratulations to John Sofarelli, BBC 1981, and David Brandon, BBC 1981, who were both inducted into M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management’s 2016 Construction Hall of Fame on homecoming weekend.

“The love I have for the program is what drives the passion to give back, and I’m so thankful to be here today and to receive this honor,” Sofarelli said during Saturday morning’s ceremony.

Both alumni received recognition from Dean Chimay Anumba and Rinker School Director Robert Ries for their long-time support of the college.

“To say that I’m humbled to be inducted into the Rinker School Construction Hall of Fame would be an understatement,” Brandon said. “I never dreamed that my name would one day appear here. It’s truly an honor to be listed amongst such well-respected construction professionals on the wall.”

The Construction Hall of Fame has been a Rinker School tradition since the early 1980s, inducting men and women who have truly distinguished themselves in the construction profession.
