The University of Florida New Student Convocation was held in the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center to officially welcome all new first-year students to UF.
After that event concluded, incoming DCP students walked over to Rinker Hall to be welcomed at our college’s Convocation Celebration.
Associate Dean Abdol Chini was the host as he introduced the day’s speakers: Dean Chimay Anumba and our college’s Academic Unit Leaders. The speakers informed the students about all the exciting programs our college has to offer.
Afterwards, the new students heard from a panel of current students, who shared advice and answered questions.
It was a great event and we are excited to welcome the newest members of the DCP family. We can’t wait to see what their future holds.
