Improving on last year’s entrance into the top ten rankings, the University of Florida rose one spot to the No. 8 spot in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list.
UF is still the highest ranked school in Florida and the only state school in the top 10. Last year, UF was tied for the No. 9 spot with the University of California, Irvine, and the University of California, San Diego.
Here is the 2019 top ten list:
1. University of California, Los Angeles
2. University of California, Berkeley
3. University of Virginia
4. University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
5. University of California, Santa Barbara
5. University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
7. University of California, Irvine
8. University of Florida
8. Georgia Institute of Technology
10. College of William & Mary
10. University of California, Davis
