M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management graduate Jim Pugh received the prestigious Horatio Alger Award. Bestowed on only 10-12 individuals each year, this award conveys prominent national recognition to individuals who succeed because of their hard work, perseverance and personal integrity – and who also work to help others climb to their same heights.
DCP, along with the DC Gator Club, held a reception in Mr. Pugh’s honor at Florida House in Washington, D.C. the night before he received his award from the Horatio Alger Association. University of Florida President Kent W. Fuchs, was among the dignitaries in attendance and presented Pugh with an award from the college recognizing his accomplishment.
