Foster, Sr. Inducted Into Rinker School’s Construction Hall of Fame

On October 7, the Rinker School’s Construction Hall of Fame inducted its newest member: Ron Foster, Sr., BBC 1967.

In 1985, Foster founded The Stellar Group with three entrepreneurial partners, one of which was his brother, Chuck.

The Stellar Group started out with only 12 people and year-one revenues of $10 million. Under Foster’s leadership, the Jacksonville, Florida-based firm has grown into a global engineering/construction firm with annual revenues exceeding $800 million.

Today, The Stellar Group operates from its home base in Jacksonville in addition to 15 regional support locations throughout the U.S. and overseas. With more than 800 employees, the company offers multifaceted design, construction and mechanical services to Fortune 500 businesses around the world.

Throughout much of its recent history, The Stellar Group has been continually ranked as one of the nation’s Top 25 companies in the design-build industry and among the Top 100 contractors in the U.S. by Engineering News-Record. It is one of Florida’s largest privately held companies.
