The School of Architecture’s Environmental Technology II class held a project exhibition in the DCP Gallery for their luminaire design competition. Students in the class were vying for cash prizes.
Congratulations to the winners. Daniel Lord won first place in the faculty vote and was awarded $500 while Austin Hoaglin claimed second place and the $300 prize. Khang Truong was the first place winner in the student vote and won $200.
Environmental Technology II explores the relations among people, technology and the environments in which they dwell. Sensory percepts, physical properties and technological manipulation of sound, light and building power systems will be examined through theoretical, conceptual and practical modes as integral components of architecture and the design process.
