The Master of Science in Urban Analytics (MSUA) program at the University of Florida is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in computing, data analysis and visualization skills for urban science. What sets our program apart is its focus on artificial intelligence with an interdisciplinary support, offering a holistic perspective that goes beyond the limitations of single-discipline urban analytics degrees.
In addition to the UA master’s program, the Department of Urban & Regional Planning offers a Graduate Certificate in Urban Analytics for current and prospective students across the disciplines. This certificate is designed to focus on a better and more systematic understanding of human behaviors and interactions with urban policies and the built environment and how cities function by analyzing big urban data using new data science and Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, such as data mining, Machine Learning (ML), deep learning and other AI approaches.
