- URP6223 can be substituted by URP 6931 – Artificial Intelligence in the Built Environment with permission of the program coordinator.
- 9 credits from group 1 electives are required for those without an urban planning background, and 6 credits for those with an urban planning (or similar) background
- 9 credits from group 2 electives are required for those without a computer science background, and 6 credits for those with a computer science background.
- Students can take up to two 3000/4000 courses (6 credits maximum) from other departments (excluding URP) for graduate credits. Recommended for students without a computer science background:
a. COP 3502 – Programming Fundamentals 1 [3 credits] and
b. EEL 3850 – Data Science for ECE [3 credits] - Alternative elective courses are allowed only with approval from the program coordinator.
