SBE Faculty & Students Support the UF Climate Action Plan (CAP)

Sustainable UF working groups for the 2021 update to the Campus Climate Action Plan (CAP).

In 2008/2009, SBE Lecturer & Change Agent, Hal Knowles, served as a project manager for the original UF Climate Action Plan (CAP) Version 1.0 while working at Sustainable UF as a graduate research assistant. Today, both Hal and SBE Program Director, Bahar Armaghani, are faculty members serving on working groups to update the CAP for 2021. To broaden participation and the diversity of voices on the working groups, Sustainable UF held an open application for community stakeholders. SBE students, Daniela Quintero and Jacob York, were selected to serve among the student voices at the table. Thanks Daniela and Jacob!
