Job Description:

The ideal candidate will assist with overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They will work with the lead superintendent to determine and address any high-risk areas or activities in order to maintain the safety of workers. They will work with the subcontractors to ensure the standards of quality and safety are adhered to on-site. The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent and Project Manager in maintaining the project schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day to day field operations
  • Investigate existing conditions with subcontractors 
  • Report and generate RFI’s regarding potential or upcoming conflicts
  • Maintain ICRA, ISLM, Safety Requirements
  • Notify and coordinate with facilities for areas of work and shutdowns 

Qualifications

  • Strong construction management and communications skills
  • Ability to read construction documents
  • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
