The City of Orlando is seeking college/university students (graduate or undergraduate level) to work on various initiatives currently underway in the City Planning Division and the Transportation Department. This is the perfect opportunity for students to learn more about the role of urban planning from the governmental perspective and to gain practical knowledge as they further refine their career path.

The internship is open to any current college student, both graduate and undergraduate with a declared major in a relevant field. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational skills, an ability to work independently to meet deadlines and be able to convey information clearly both orally and in writing. Students in the following programs are encouraged to apply:

-Urban and Regional Planning
-Transportation Planning
-Urban Design
-Architecture
-Historic Preservation
-Communications and Public Administration
