Cardella Construction Company is looking for a passionate, hard-working, energetic, and highly-motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team. The primary responsibilities of a Project Engineer include assisting the Project Manager, Preconstruction Manager and Superintendent in the overall planning, scheduling, and administration of an assigned project. 

What you’ll be up to:

  • Collaborate with operations team to help develop the project plan
  • Assist with preconstruction efforts in order to develop project estimates, schedules, and proposals
  • Owning the submittal, RFI and other document control processes once the project has started
  • Managing and coordinating all project inspections, including collaboration with inspectors and building departments

Assisting Project Manager and Superintendent in the following areas:

  • Project start up
  • Forecasting and planning
  • Material delivery coordination and scheduling
  • Quality Control
  • Closeout process

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent combination of technical training
  • 2+ years of working experience in construction industry
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials, and required standards applicable to discipline
  • Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office required
  • Hard-working, motivated and passionate individual
  • Flexibility with working location, as job sites are spread throughout the South Florida area
