FAQ – Fall 2027 DCP Recognition Ceremony
Do I need tickets for my family to attend?
No. This is not a ticketed event, as admission is free and open to the general public. There is no limit to the amount of family members in attendance.
Where do I park?
Garage 7 or Stephen C. O’Connell Center Parking Lot
What time should I arrive?
12 p.m. – Doors open to students, family and friends at 12:30 p.m.
Where do graduates enter/line up?
Gate 4. DCP graduates will line up in the Orange and Blue room.
Where do friends and family enter?
Gates 1 & 3
What time do graduates start processing to the stage?
1:30 p.m.
What items are prohibited at commencement?

What will be announced as I walk across the stage?
Names only, specifically the name and pronunciation you submit to Tassel. Graduates will need to bring their phone with them to walk across the stage and access their Tassel account.
Will the ceremony be available online for those who cannot attend in person?
Yes – the live stream is available here.

Registration
REGISTRATION
Students graduating this semester must apply to graduate. The deadlines for applications for the Fall 2027 semester can be found in the catalog of the Registrar’s Office.
The application for graduation can be found in a student’s OneUF.
CHECKING/UPDATING/EDITING YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Login to your https://one.uf.edu/
- Click on “academic information”
- Click on “graduation checklist”
- Go to “RSVP for your ceremony”
- Answer the questions, or change your answers to the questions
Regalia
Regalia is REQUIRED to participate in University of Florida Commencement ceremonies.
Regalia ordered after November will incur a late fee and cannot be mailed: https://colleges.herffjones.com/college/_uf/ (note: a browser alternative to Chrome is recommended for this site). Payment is required when placing an order.
Formal academic regalia is required for all faculty members attending the ceremonies as a doctoral commencement ceremony as a platform party member or as an escort and/or hooding faculty member for doctoral degree candidates.
