Interior Design Assistant

Ficarra Design Associates is one of the leading boutique design firms in Naples, Florida. This award-winning team is seeking a positive, hardworking and creative Design Assistant to join their team of talented designers. This position is an important role that works closely alongside a Senior Designer to bring design projects from concept to completion. By committing to this role, you can expect a valuable hands-on experience and room for rapid growth at one of Southwest Florida’ premier design firms.

Role expectations include: assisting on creative and analytical elements, such as meeting with clients, preparing proposals, developing design concepts, sourcing furniture, processing, tracking and scheduling deliveries. Due to the nature of this role, communicating and coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure meetings, deliveries and scheduling is on time, is crucial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field is preferred
• Proficiency in design software including Autocad, Revit, Sketch up and Design Manager are a plus but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in drafting designs and managing projects
• Previous experience in Interior Design or related fields are a plus but not mandatory
