Free Workshop: Resilience in Urban Environments toward SDG Sustainable Cities

We are happy to officially invite you to the free two-day workshop “Resilience in Urban Environments toward SDG Sustainable Cities”, organized with the sponsorship of the International Center, FIBER and SHARE Lab at the University of Florida and the NASEM Gulf Research Program. The workshop will bring together researchers from the University of Florida and the Universidad de Cuenca (Ecuador) to discuss strategies to address sustainability challenges in medium and small coastal cities in the Gulf of Mexico, focusing on climate change, mitigation, and adaptation. 

Dates and Venues: 
Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the University of Florida, School of Architecture Gallery.
Friday, February 23, 2024, at Cedar Key, UF IFAS Nature Coast Biological Station. 

Thanks to the support of the NASEM Gulf Research Program, we offer scholarships to students to travel to Cedar Key for the second day of the event. At the end of the workshop, the participant will obtain a certificate and the possibility to publish their workshop outputs at an international conference in 2025 in Ecuador.
