And this year's winner is…

2015 Witters CompetitionOn March 29, the winner of the 2015 Witters Competition was accounced. Four teams participated in the annual competition and presented their work to a panel of five judges including Martin Gold, ARCH associate professor, Meg Portillo, chair of the department of IND, Michael Volk, research assistant professor for the Center for Landscape Conservation Planning, Tim Stanley, BBI Construction Management, and Erik Bredfeldt, City of Gainesville. The competition resulted in four diverse approaches toward ecological, market, and community design strategies regarding a potential new residential/mixed-use community in Hawthorne, Fla.
