Jennifer Krouchick is the Assistant Master Planner for the Kennedy Space Center and NASA in Brevard County, Fla. She had a background in banking and finance during undergraduate studies at Temple University and was first exposed to planning through an environmental planning course she took due to her interests in the environment and the financial impacts of sea level rise. “A lot of different things came through my education that shifted my mindset and gave me a very well-rounded base of skills to take and see where that was going to take me.”

As the Assistant Master Planner for the Kennedy Space Center and NASA, Jennifer is involved in a process that encompasses all aspects of the planning field, but especially those that help NASA reach its goals of expanding access to space. “We get exposed to a little bit of everything,” Jennifer said. “I work with the environmental folks, the transportation folks, and on future projects.

“One of the things that’s amazing about this job is that I get to be involved in a little bit of everything.”

Jennifer views planning as a comprehensive look at how any entity can prepare for the future and support future goals. “The future is open and as planners, we have the power to bring people together.
