BIO
Zhaoxi Zhang joined the University of Florida Department of Urban and Regional Planning in 2025 as an Assistant Professor. An urban strategist, Zhang’s work is focused on building healthy, sustainable, and smart cities.
She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Aarhus University in Aarhus, Denmark, and her Master of Architecture from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. She previously worked as a Faculty Fellow at NYU’s Center for Urban Science + Progress.
