Dear ASLA Florida Membership,

Happy June! I hope this blast finds you all healthy and well I would like to take a minute to recognize one of our Florida Chapter members, longtime volunteer, in service to the growth and advancement of our profession and a good friend mine, Emily O’Mahoney, FASLA. It is with great joy that I announce that Emily has been elected as the President-Elect for ASLA National. Emily has served on many committee positions at National and almost every volunteer role within the Florida Chapter including Past President, Trustee, Section Chair, MAL for Education & Research, Conference Chair, LARE Host/Chair as well as contributing to so many other committees and sub-committees along the way.

On behalf of the Officers, Executive Committee and Membership-at-large thank you Emily for your continued dedication and commitment to the growth and advancement of the profession and ASLA over the years. We wish you nothing but success and support as you take on this new role at ASLA National. We are very proud of everything you have accomplished and look forward to your continued leadership.

Sincerely,

Alexander C. Fenech
Florida Chapter President
