A big ‘Thank you!” to outgoing chair, Dr. Margaret Portillo. Dr. Portillo served as the Department of Interior Design’s Chair since 2004 when she joined UF. Since 2016, Dr. Portillo has served as an Associate Dean in DCP while holding the position as the Interim Chair of the Department of Interior Design. She will continue her tenure as Associate Dean for Research and Strategic Initiatives and is looking forward to having time to teach once again; her true passion.
