EDRA CORE Award Winner: “Mixed-use Learning Zones for Millennials: A Typology for Bridging Learning from the Academe to the Profession” – Merit Status (highest level of recognition): Meg Portillo and Nam-Kyu Park, representing the Engage Design Lab team, accepted the CORE award at the EDRA49 conference: EDRA announced seven 2018 recipients of the Certificate of Research Excellence, marking the third year of the program. The purpose of CORE is to recognize rigorous, valuable and impactful practice-based research that sparks innovation and promotes best practices in environmental design.
