Dr. Cleary Larkin with Emma Ramseyer
Director Dr. Cleary Larkin with Emma Ramseyer

This past December, Emma Ramseyer graduated with her Master of Historic Preservation! Her thesis topic, Hazardous Material Management in Museum Collections and Historic Sites: University of Florida, combined her core skills learned in Historic Preservation with a graduate certificate in Museum Studies. While completing her degree, Emma completed internships with the Historic Thomas Center and with the University of Florida Smathers Special Collections. Through these opportunities, Emma was able to secure a position at the National Archives and Records Administration with additional work responsibilities that include being a conservation liaison for the digitization department.

Emma was able to take advantage of the interdisciplinary learning opportunities afforded by attending the University of Florida to create a learning path that custom fit her historic preservation research interests. We are so proud of you!
