Sheeba West

Sheeba West designs places harmonious with nature that people enjoy. Her work focuses on the public realm including parks, trails, main streets, and campuses that support walking and biking. Her collaborative approach to public realm design includes expertise in public engagement conducting in-person and virtual workshops and walking audits.

A Principal with Dix.Hite + Partners, Sheeba serves as Director of Business Development, and Public Realm Practice Lead supporting the firm’s strategic efforts to grow its portfolio through relationship building, partnerships, and market insight. Sheeba earned her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. Her husband and son are UF alumni. Her favorite Gator memories include watching the bats at the community gardens near Lake Alice and celebrating her son’s first birthday at Lake Wauburg.

Recognized in 2024 as a UF DCP Women for Influence, she gives back by serving on the UF Department of Landscape Architecture’s Professional Advisory Council, the MetroPlan Orlando’s Community Advisory Committee, and the City of Orlando Public Art Advisory Board. She has been past Board of Trustees Chair of Harry P. Leu Gardens and a member of the Seminole County Library Board. In her free time, Sheeba loves to write, photograph and paint.
