Matt Meyer

Matt Meyer (BLA ’10) is a Master Planning Executive, creative strategist, and professional landscape architect who leads global visioning efforts for Walt Disney Imagineering’s Global Creative Strategy Studio. He credits his University of Florida education with helping build the multidisciplinary foundation that continues to shape his approach to planning, design, and creative leadership.

Matt’s favorite memories from his time at UF include studying abroad in Paris and Bali, expanding his understanding of culture, design, and the built environment, and celebrating multiple championship seasons during one of the most exciting eras in Gator athletics history. These experiences helped shape his belief that the best ideas emerge with curiosity and collaboration.

Over the course of more than 20 years in hospitality, entertainment, and destination development, Matt has helped shape story-driven experiences through master planning, creative strategy, and design leadership. He is passionate about fostering the next generation of designers and planners and is honored to serve on the Professional Advisory Councils for both the Landscape Architecture and Themed Environment Integration programs.
