SUCCEED
SUCCEED is a University of Florida foundation which provides a platform for Academia, Industry and Government to collaborate and develop innovative products and analytic projects. Joint effort will help to develop innovative and transformational systems and products which would help develop sustainable built environment.
Students benefit from developing innovative products along with industry guidance. This is beneficial to the industry, and in turn the industry would support the foundation by providing advisory and financial help to carry out the research. Graduating students would also benefit from job placements as they would be day one ready.
Government and philanthropic agency can provide critical funding to support innovation which would be fundamental and require in-depth knowledge and study for developing innovative products.

SUCCEED Services
SUCCEED provides research-based services that support the development, evaluation, and improvement of sustainable building systems. Our work connects field measurements, energy modeling, product innovation, and project consultation to help industry, government, and academic partners solve practical challenges in the built environment.
SUCCEED conducts technical assessments and field-based evaluations to better understand building performance and component behavior.
- Field measurements
- Building envelope component analysis
- Window forensic analysis, including EDTM Glass-Chek and related methods
Energy Modeling
SUCCEED uses advanced simulation tools to analyze building performance, community-scale energy use, and window system behavior. These modeling services help support design decisions, product evaluation, and energy-efficiency strategies.
- Building and community-based energy modeling using EnergyPlus, DesignBuilder, eQUEST, and specialized simulation tools
- Window energy modeling using WINDOW, THERM, and OPTIC
Product Development
SUCCEED supports the development and testing of innovative products for sustainable and high-performance buildings. Our product development work focuses on practical technologies that improve building efficiency, durability, and environmental performance.
Project Consultation
SUCCEED provides consultation for research, industry, and policy-related projects. These efforts help partners evaluate technologies, analyze standards, and develop solutions for building performance challenges.
