Get Behind the Scenes at CityLab-Orlando

The University of Florida College of Design, Construction and Planning is proud to announce the Master of Science in Architectural Studies with a concentration in Themed Environments Integration at our School of Architecture’s CityLab-Orlando, coming Fall 2019. This is just one more opportunity for our students to shape the world we live in.

Master of Science in Architectural Studies with a concentration in Themed Environments Integration

Immerse yourself in the scene & aspire to make magic!

Themed environments enhance a wide range of human experiences from real estate development projects, museums/exhibitions, retail, dining and entertainment venues, to theme parks and cruise ships. A Themed Environments Integration graduate will be able to carry the most important magical asset, “the story”, through to each guest.

A Worldwide Transformation Is Underway

Leadership Born from Collaboration

This new Master concentration is a unique industry driven program. It is focused on themed environments project design and construction team integration. The program leverages the core strengths of the College of Design Construction and Planning (DCP); architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, and interior design, and puts them together with industry expertise. The degree focuses on the enmeshed needs of an industry embodied in arts, technical disciplines, and construction/fabrication that makes an immersive themed environment possible. Our students obtain core knowledge and then are faced with industry problems which they tackle collaboratively to create research-informed limit-pushing designs.
