Design Student Resumes
Each registered student is required to have a resume submitted by Friday, January 31st. When you complete your online registration, your registration will not be confirmed until submittal and acceptance of your resume by Joey Mazzaferro at expo@dcp.ufl.edu.
Resumes must be one page, 8.5 × 11 and must be submitted as a .pdf. The size of the .pdf file must be 200 KB or less. Resumes must follow these specifications. The resumes received by the deadline and to the specifications will be collected into one file and distributed to the participating employers prior to the career fair.
Attending Company Listing
Career Fair Digital Booklet
Before the career fair, we will provide a digital booklet for students which will include information on the employers attending the Design and Planning Career Fair.
Interviews
Interviews will begin at 1:00 p.m. Companies will contact you if they’d like to setup an interview time in the afternoon. Note: not all of companies will be conducting onsite interviews.
Attire
On the day of the career fair, please dress professionally. A professional appearance can help you make a good first impression. A dark suit (navy blue, black and dark grey) is appropriate. Business casual attire is also good (dress pants / khakis and button-down shirt / blouse).
What to bring on the day of event
Please bring with you printed copies of your resume, cover letter, your portfolio (if applicable), samples of your work, etc.

Visit the UF Career Connections Center website for information on resume workshops and other events that will help you prepare for the Design and Planning Career Fair.
