Meet Lauryn Ballard, Recipient of APA Florida’s 2026 Andre Anderson Minority Scholarship<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Lauryn Ballard, a second-year MURP student, was recently named as the recipient of the 2026 Andre Anderson Minority Scholarship from the American Planning Association Florida Chapter. This highly selective scholarship is awarded each year to a graduate-level planning student from a minority group who showcases dedication in the pursuit of their planning career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am deeply honored to receive the 2026 Andre Anderson Minority Scholarship. This recognition affirms my aspirations of contributing to public service spaces while also advancing equitable planning practices across Florida,” said Ballard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the second year in a row that a MURP student has received this award. MURP student Victoria Fountain received the 2025 scholarship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
