Chip Howard

ChipChip Howard is the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Internal Affairs at the University Athletic Association, Inc. and has been part of the organization since 1989. He supervises all capital improvement projects, as well as the Concessions, Maintenance, Operations and Facility, and Strength and Conditioning departments. In addition, he assists in the management of the football program and directly supervises the Gator baseball program.

A 1984 graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in natural resources, Howard became affiliated with the Gainesville area in 1989 when he was appointed administrative assistant at the UF Golf Course.

The Northboro, Mass. native also has a B.A. degree in economics from URI, where he was a two-year baseball letter winner for the Rams.
