To create the account you will need your UFID number. If you don\u2019t know this number, contact the FES Advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"http:\/\/helpdesk.ufl.edu\/self-help\/new-gator-resources\/gatorlink\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gatorlink<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You&nbsp;are required to clear holds placed on your account each semester before your registration can be processed.<br>To clear your holds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In&nbsp;your <a href=\"https:\/\/student.ufl.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Student Self Service<\/a> under My Record, click on Holds to clear each one. Holds&nbsp;can include&nbsp;emergency contact information, registration prep, current address, and others. If you have an immunization hold or an orientation\/preview hold, contact the FES Advisor to get those cleared.&nbsp;All other holds can only be cleared by students.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Register<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In Summer 2015, new specialization tracks&nbsp;began being offered in Fire, EMS, and Emergency Management. Each track includes&nbsp;7&nbsp;specialization courses,&nbsp;7&nbsp;core courses, and 6 electives.<br>Your 6 electives can be chosen from the list of electives or from any other specialization courses.&nbsp;Electives can be used to earn a certificate other than in your specialization.<br>New students must choose a specialization.
