Dr. Jules Bruck recently published her research article \u201cOptimizing shoreline suitability models framework: integrating advanced GIS methodologies at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland\u201d in the journal Frontiers in Environmental Science<\/em>, which explores how bold, open science can restore ecosystems, empower communities, and tackle the planet\u2019s most urgent crises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The article serves as a GIS-based framework to enhance shoreline suitability modeling for living shorelines and hybrid nature-based solutions. The paper is a collaboration with Afsheen Sadaf, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis who previously worked under Dr. Bruck as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
