A key focus for the research team was the identification of inland migration pathways that would allow coastal ecosystems to shift and adapt over time, rather than be lost entirely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-2d33e177189708838f91df65a0d2088a wp-block-paragraph\">CLCP faculty are recognized leaders in research addressing sea level rise and other pressures facing Florida\u2019s fragile landscapes. The paper was led by <a href=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/landscape\/dr-eve-bohnett\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/landscape\/dr-eve-bohnett\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Eve Bohnett<\/a>, Ecological Connectivity and Ecosystem Services Modeling Coordinator for CLCP and Assistant Scholar in the UF Department of Landscape Architecture. Additional authors include <a href=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/faculties\/thomas-hoctor-2\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/faculties\/thomas-hoctor-2\/\" target=\"_blank\"
