BLA Senior Madeline LaMont Receives UF DCP’s 2026 Undergraduate Leadership and Service Award

Congratulations to BLA Senior Madeline LaMont on receiving the 2026 Undergraduate Student Leadership Award from the University of Florida College of Design, Construction and Planning. 

“Thank you to both the College and the Department for such a rewarding four years,” said LaMont. “This award reflects so much of the mentorship and guidance I received from my peers and professors during my time at UF. I cannot wait to see what the future holds! Go Gators!”

During her time at UF, LaMont served in several leadership roles including president and mentorship coordinator for the UF Student Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (SCASLA), secretary on the Phi Mu sorority executive board, and speech and debate director for Florida Blue Key.
