A3 Design Co. is a start-up boutique interior design firm specializing in high-end residential new builds and renovations. Our firm is rooted in authenticity and alignment. We maintain an atelier approach that transforms each home through an intentional, bespoke process that allows luxury to be experienced and lived-in. We collaborate closely with builders, architects, and homeowners to create curated, timeless interiors that blend craftsmanship, innovation, and comfort.
We’re looking for our first hire – an ambitious, collaborative designer with an entrepreneurial spirit—someone eager to join a growing firm and help shape it from the ground up. The ideal candidate is grounded, driven, and passionate about design, motivated by the opportunity to use their creativity to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
Responsibilities
Support the design team in all phases of the projects, from concept to installation
Develop floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD/SketchUp
Source and specify finishes, materials, furnishings, and lighting
Prepare design presentations, client proposals, and project documentation
Coordinate with builders, vendors, and trades to ensure design intent is executed
Maintain organized project files and design libraries
Contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred (CIDA-accredited is a bonus!)
Proficient in SketchUp/AutoCAD; experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
1–3 years of residential design experience preferred
Strong understanding of space planning, material procurement, and construction
Great communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
Eager to grow and pursue NCIDQ certification (firm support provided)
What We Offer
$60,000 – $70,000 annual salary + profit sharing + mileage reimbursement
Range depends on skill level and overall experience!
