Biographical Information:

Dr. Madeline Brown is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Florida Institute for Built Environment Resilience.

She is an ecological anthropologist whose work focuses on resource governance and landscape-level conservation in both China and North America.

Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Associate at Penn State University and Landscape Conservation Fellow with the Appalachian Landscape Conservation Cooperative.

She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from Stanford University and A.B. in Anthropology from Brown University.
