The 15-credit hour Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Architecture is a post-professional graduate certificate <\/strong>focused on the social, ecological, and environmental issues related to resilient, regenerative architecture and the city involving design, technology, public policy, building science, and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Graduate Certificate provides working professionals with the opportunity to add expertise and a deeper understanding of architecture\u2019s positive impact on the built environment, natural systems, and society and to build special skills, knowledge and approaches to advanced   building science, building technologies, and regenerative design practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The degree welcomes applications from both research and practice-oriented candidates and will prepare students for careers as sustainability experts in architecture, construction, real estate, and corporate firms, as well as other sustainability roles in the building industry and academia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants to the Graduate Certificate degree are reviewed application twice yearly. Please submit all application materials by March 1st <\/strong>to be considered for the fall semester, or by October 1st<\/strong> to be considered for admission in the following spring semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will consider late applications received after these deadlines only on a space-available basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
