May 5, Arrived at Shanghai. Took taxi or Maglev train and metro rail to the hotel which near the Qibao Town.

May 6, Lecture about Shanghai’s urban planning system, site visit at Shanghai, including New Oriental Urban Renew, Tianzi Fang, bus and Metro rail system, using city’s public transportation system.
May 7, Site visit at Shanghai, including Shanghai Urban Planning Museum, the Bund, Pudong new development area.
May 8, Field trip to Suzhou, the garden city in China, which offers special interests to planners and landscape architects. Taking train.
May 9, Site visit at International Expo site planning, Yu garden and watched the night view of the Bund.
May 10, Departed to Wuhan, taking the train. Arrived at Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
May 11-20, Joint design studio with students and faculty from the Huazhong University of Science & Technology on campus, with field trips to the planning site.
