UF Professor Honored with Prestigious ASCE Editing Award<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The University of Florida\u2019s Dr. Raymond Issa was recently honored with the 2023 American Society of Civil Engineers Richard R. Torrens Award for his volunteer editing contributions to ASCE publications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Issa is a Professor in UF\u2019s M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management and Director of the Center of Advanced Construction Information Modeling (CACIM). He serves as Editor-in-Chief of the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Torrens Award Recognizes Outstanding Editorial Contributions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Torrens Award is granted by ASCE\u2019s Board Committee on Publications to editors that have made significant voluntary contributions to the society\u2019s journals and magazines. Award recipients are nominated by fellow ASCE journal editors and reviewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
