Graduate Teaching Assistantships

Over one third of our graduate students receive graduate teaching assistantships during their graduate studies. Opportunities to assist in the classroom setting are wide ranging and include design education, environmental technology, digital media, materials and methods of construction, architectural history and theory, and architectural acoustics. Outside of the traditional classroom setting, educational forums include assisting with SoA’s renowned lecture series, exhibitions and gallery, archives and supervising in the media lab. In addition to cultivating individual student interests and enhancing the educational experience, these GTA positions include a tuition waiver and stipend.

If you are interested in being considered for a GTA position, you should indicate such interest in your letter of intent as part of your MArch application submission.
