An <strong>outright gift<\/strong> is just that\u2014something you give immediately and directly. It can be as simple as an online gift through the website or as unique as donating a piece of real property or art. It all depends on what you\u2019d like to do or help UF accomplish. A few examples of outright gifts include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/alumni\/make-a-gift\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/alumni\/make-a-gift\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Online gifts<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/rinkerbrickprogram.pdf\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/dcp.ufl.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/rinkerbrickprogram.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rinker Brick Program<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tangible assets (such as books, art, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expendable (or non-endowed) gifts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Endowments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Naming opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Corporate match<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stocks and other securities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Donor-advised funds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IRA Rollover Gifts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/giftplanning.uff.ufl.edu\/\">Planned or deferred gifts<\/a><\/strong>, on the other hand, are gifts that require some planning, are tax-advantaged and may be deferred. Such gifts include bequests or other estate commitments, charitable remainder trusts, charitable gift annuities and gifts of insurance.
